California Redwoods are the tallest, and some of the most massive trees on our planet. They've been a staple of the US throughout our history.
This redwood came from a fire around ten years ago. I've stabilized the stock to be used in this design with a semi-matte Tungsten exterior.
Tungsten rings are made using lost wax casting with industrial molds, and then polished using diamond paste. It will never scratch, nor corrode.
